So I think I joined the ranks of Apple fans, but we’ll have to wait and see. I just got my new Apple Ipod Touch 8gb, a wonderful birthday gift from my brother (he’s rich and single, contact me for his number).
I haven’t opened this little jem yet but what I can tell you is the packaging feels like a brick. Walking up to my apartment I felt I could throw this thing through the window and pick it up on the other side, not even a scratch. We’ll see how the actual hardware holds up.
I really hope this can live up to the hype. I’ve been duped by Apples aggressive marketing before (a bricked 80gb Ipod, not even a year old). Why buy into Apple again you ask? Looks like the next generation of web development will be centered around devices like this, I want to be there when it happens.

Hey Chris, I see you got your ipod. I hope you like it. They got me working shutdown saftey at site. I’m on for 12 days and only get 2 off. It sucks but the pay makes up for it.
