Apple full of Hot Air

What a sad and depressing show of hot air and fancy gadgets for your Prada purse. The first major disappointment, the Apple 2008 Keynote was not streamed live over the internet. There I was at 10:00am (Mountain) with my coffee and fruit loops and nothing to watch. If I had only known then what I know now.

I will start with a positive note about the Keynote, and probably the only one. The new IPhone firmware is pretty bad ass. That positive note only lasted about a quarter of a bar before it crashed out of tune. Who does Apple think they are giving the new software update for free to IPhone users but not Ipod Touch?

Twenty dollars. That’s a twelve pack of cold ones and a cheap Little Ceasar’s pizza. For a software update that should just be standard as with any piece of hardware growing with it’s users.

The MacBook Air. What can I say about this fancy piece of aluminum that everyone else hasn’t said. What an extremely poor decision from the top minds at Apple. I think I wouldn’t mind an extra .2 inches for better performance, and how about a real hard drive?

I won’t reiterate what everyone else has said about this overpriced gadget, just read the news. They only thing this years Keynote has done for me is confirm my stance on buying a PC laptop rather then a Mac. I just can’t justify the dollar amount when 20% of it is paying for the street credit for just owning one.
